The Estate Cos. obtained approval from city officials Oct. 10 for a pair of apartment complexes with 503 units in Hollywood.
Soleste Hollywood Village North, at 2001 Van Buren St., would total 206,985 square feet in 12 stories, with 300 apartments, eight live/work units at the ground level and 384 parking spaces.
Across the street, at 2000 Van Buren St., Soleste Hollywood Village South would total 160,250 square feet in eight stories, with 203 apartments, five live/work units and 273 parking spaces. Each building would have its own amenity deck with a pool, fitness center, lounge and coworking spaces. Electric car charging stations will be included.
The apartments will range from 418-square-foot studios to 945 square feet with two bedrooms.
Miami-based the Estate Cos. plans to commence construction on both project in the fourth quarter of this year. Construction is expected to take up to two years.
The developer assembled the 2.39 acres of property for $15 million in late 2021. It’s a few blocks west of Young Circle, where there’s been a building boom as more people and businesses move to Hollywood.
Estate Cos. is already building another apartment complex on Hollywood Boulevard.
