At The Estate Companies, creating thriving communities goes beyond development—it starts with protecting the people who help build them. That commitment to safety was recently recognized with a prestigious honor: the Sunshine State Safety Recognition Award, presented by the USF Health College of Public Health through the USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program.

This recognition highlights organizations that go above and beyond to foster a strong workplace safety culture and collaborate with their employees to maintain healthy, secure working environments. The award also acknowledges employers who proactively partner with SafetyFlorida consultants to strengthen occupational safety and health practices.

During a recent consultative visit to The Estate Companies’ site, both managers and employees demonstrated a clear and ongoing commitment to improving the effectiveness of the company’s workplace safety, health, and management systems. Their dedication reflects a culture where safety is not simply a requirement—it is a shared responsibility and a core organizational value.

The Sunshine State Safety Recognition Award serves as a bridge to greater awareness of what a company’s safety culture can achieve. By continuously evaluating and strengthening safety practices, organizations create environments where employees feel supported, protected, and empowered to do their best work.

The Estate Companies’ recognition by the USF Health College of Public Health and USF SafetyFlorida is a testament to the company’s leadership in workplace safety and its commitment to maintaining high standards across its operations.

As the company continues to grow and shape communities across Florida, safety remains a cornerstone of its mission. The Estate Companies is proud to be recognized for its efforts and grateful for the partnership with USF SafetyFlorida that helps reinforce the importance of occupational safety and health in every workplace.

Congratulations to the entire team for setting the bar high and continuing to lead by example in building safer workplaces for all.
